MBA Concentration in Marketing
The Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing requires 39 credit hours of:
- Gupta Core
- Professional development courses
- MBA courses
- Marketing courses
Students who complete all requirements below will receive a Concentration in Marketing designation on their MBA transcript.
The Gupta Core
The Gupta Core courses are considered essential to develop the hard skills to succeed, refine the soft skills to make potent connections, and build the core qualities that define the most in-demand resumes in the business world. All Gupta Core courses must be completed in the first 2 semesters.
There are no program prerequisites except for international students admitted under conditional status and domestic and international students admitted under qualifying status. Those students will be required to complete the BUAD 5F70 Cornerstone course.
Required for All Graduate Business Programs (6 credits)
MBA Core Courses
The core curriculum courses build critical management and leadership skills and competencies. Classes may be taken in any order as long as course and program prerequisites are satisfied. All courses are three credit hours unless otherwise specified.
Technology Elective
All MBA students are required to complete one business analytics or cybersecurity course in order to foster essential hard skills like data analytics, strategic thinking, and digital technologies.
