MEDH 5330 Literature and Health

In this course, students will examine literary texts that reflect on health, healing, and medicine. Texts will be reviewed for their representation on topics like societal definitions of health and illness, experiences of pain and disability, and relationships between health care providers and patients. Texts may include memoirs, lyric poetry, plays, and novels.
