EDU 5F22 Pedagogical Foundations for Catholic Educators
This course equips Catholic educators to plan, teach, and assess in ways that reflect the mission of Catholic education and foster the holistic growth of every student. Grounded in the Catholic
Intellectual Tradition, it integrates academic excellence with spiritual and moral formation. Students will learn to design lessons that align academic and faith-based standards, apply
inclusive practices, and use balanced assessments to support both learning and spiritual development. The course also explores Christ-centered classroom management, community
building, and collaboration with families and parishes to support student formation.
