THE 6344 Marital Covenant
The Catholic or sacramental understanding of maleness and femaleness as ordered to the covenant between Christ and the Church. The distinction between natural and sacramental marriage, the indissolubility of the marital bond, divorce and annulment and the sacramentality of the body as it informs such issues as contraception and the new birth technologies.
