PSY PSY 4337 Learning and Memory

This course will explore and critically evaluate the major theoretical approaches, concepts, principles, and experimental methods of learning and memory. Beginning with behaviorism and operant conditioning, the course explores the cognitive turn in psychology including the neurological basis of learning and memory, as well as cognitive theories of motivation and social learning theory. Students are exposed to primary texts from seminal authors in these fields.
