ENG 5321 Modern Irish Literature
Readings from the literature of 20th Century Ireland. The course may focus on prose fiction, drama, or lyric, or consider works of multiple genres. Authors may include Wilde, Shaw, Yeats, Synge, Joyce, Kavanagh, Beckett, MacNeice, O’Brien, Friel, Heaney, Longley, Mahon, Boland, Muldoon, Ní Dhomhnaill, and Tóibín.
