ECO 4328 Advanced Econometrics

This course focuses on the application of econometric methods to diverse areas of economic research and data analysis. The course explores multivariate linear regression models in the context of quasi-experimental research designs, including difference-in-difference and instrument variables. It also introduces the theory and application of limited dependent variable models and panel data models. Students will learn to complete all steps of the econometric method, including use of statistical software for data analysis with an emphasis on results communication and critique.
