PSY 7311 Existential and Psychodynamic Approaches to Psychopathology
This course provides a foundation in some of the prominent existential as well as psychodynamic approaches to psychopathology by reading theoretical as well as clinical case material from primary and secondary sources. Similarities to and differences from psychopathology as presented in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manuals of Mental Disorders are discussed and critically evaluated.
