PSY 6330 Principles of Therapeutic Practice
Building on the foundation of PSY 6321, this course serves as an advanced course in individual counseling, deepening students' knowledge and ability to facilitate a therapeutic encounter via techniques and a therapeutic relationship. It will include a focus on case formulation (using transcripts of therapy sessions and students' own casework) and furthering students’ understandings of client-centered and psychodynamic theory and practice.
