PSY 3339 Phenomenological Research I

Study of seminal works and ideas in the phenomenological tradition. The course usually centers on a close textual analysis of one of the foundational figures whose work has influenced the development of the phenomenological alternative to psychology, such as Husserl, Heidegger, Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, Levinas.
