FPL 4355 Retirement Planning

This course provides a comprehensive study of retirement planning for individuals and families. Students will learn to conduct retirement income needs analyses, evaluate employer-sponsored plans, and compare tax-advantaged retirement accounts. The course covers Social Security, Medicare, group benefits, and nonqualified executive compensation. Emphasis is placed on integrating tax considerations, risk management, and investment strategy into long-term retirement planning. Students gain the ability to design, recommend, and evaluate suitable retirement solutions based on
client goals, life stages, and regulatory requirements.
