EDU 3V20 Literacy 1 - Foundations of Literacy

This three credit course explores the science of teaching reading, covering reading development stages, phonemic awareness, systematic phonics, fluency, and early literacy concepts. It also addresses foundational instructional strategies. Students in this course must register for EDU 3V25 Literacy 1 Field Based Experience concurrently.
