Every year, millions of people around the globe attend events such as games, concerts, conferences and festivals, resulting in a multi-billion-dollar industry. While these events used to take place in multi-million dollar venues, some of the most recent venues have cost over a billion dollars to construct. So, with the amount of money at stake, understanding how S&E venues operate and how events are put on is critical. Key concepts including ticket sales, crowd management, customer satisfaction, human resources, finance, marketing and hospitality will be covered in this course.
