ART 3321 Intro to Digital Media
This course provides essential foundational skills for utilizing digital media to create original artwork and augment students' studio practices. Students will explore multiple software programs through exercises and projects: Photoshop (Raster), Illustration (Vector), and InDesign (Layout). Utilizing these software programs, students will be able to accomplish two primary goals: to construct original artworks and to present their artwork more professionally. Students may use these tools to make original artwork, or in combination with traditional means of making to enhance their artwork. Students will also learn professional documentation and presentation skills.
