HUM 6V57 Teaching Practicum

The practicum is a course of self-directed study and practical work overseen by a supervisor on the ground, usually but not necessarily at a school, and ultimately directed by a faculty member in the Classical Education graduate program. Practica include elements of both theory and application of pedagogical principles, a course of reading, and written reports on one's work in the field. Practicum courses can be between one and three credits. Students are limited to two courses and six credits in the Certificate program, and three courses and nine credits in the Master's programs.
