Applying for Financial Aid and Eligibility
To apply for financial aid, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). A student’s eligibility for Title IV and institutional need-based grants, loans and work study is based on the information provided on this application. Information regarding application procedures, eligibility and funding is subject to change.
After a student has completed the financial aid application process and has been admitted to the university, the Financial Aid Office will send an Award Letter. The university awards aid to students who are eligible for Title IV aid (federal grants, loans, and work study). Students must be pursuing a degree and enrolled in courses towards that degree in order to be eligible. Students applying for financial aid should do so before January 15 to receive priority consideration. Students applying for aid in the spring only should do so by November 1.
