THE 4363 Judaism I

An introduction to the study of Jewish history, thought and literature with emphasis on Jewish theological tradition. Readings include ancient, medieval and modern writings such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, Philo, Maimonides, Rashi, Spinoza and Buber. Also, some discussion of recent Catholic pronouncements on the relation between the Church and Israel.
