Religious Residences

Holy Trinity Seminary (1965) is the residence of students preparing for the diocesan priesthood who attend classes at the university. It contains a chapel, student housing and athletic facilities.

The Priory of St. Albert the Great (2002) is the residence of the Dominican Fathers, who have served the university as chaplains and professors since 1958.

The Cistercian Abbey of Our Lady of Dallas (1958) provides accommodations for monks of the Cistercian Order, many of whom originally came to the United States from Hungary to pursue their apostolic-academic vocation. The Cistercians operate an excellent preparatory school at the same site. Several members of the community are professors at the university. The precinct includes an award-winning monastery church, designed by Gary Cunningham.
