PHI 632X Text Seminar: Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages

A focused reading of one or more major works from the early development of Christian philosophy and/or its most immediate pagan antecedents. Most often covers Neoplatonism (from Plotinus through Anselm), but may include other historical threads such as the tradition of commentaries on Aristotle, or Stoic influence on medieval philosophy.
