ENG 3328 Writing as Imitation

A hands-on study of writing through the method of close imitation of great models of the past, including rhetorical figures and other features of voice, style, and structure.  An exploration of how careful attention to style can inform and enrich all of the other canons of rhetoric.  Students imitate individual rhetorical figures, small passages, and eventually larger forms
