EDU 3323 Developmental Reading

Examines the process of reading through skill development and mastery of content. Areas of study include the five pillars of reading instruction: phonemic and phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and reading comprehension. Phonic analysis, structural analysis and other decoding skills are integral facets of teaching listening, written composition, spelling and handwriting to support literacy acquisition.
