ECO 4V61 Independent Research/Thesis
Senior Thesis: provides a framework within which students complete an original, multi-chaptered piece of professional-level writing. The Senior Thesis is partially a writing seminar, a research seminar, and a workshop within which students can present and explore their ideas with peers and the professor. As such the course requires classroom instruction on crafting research questions, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, drafting research proposals, and writing the thesis itself. A second semester of Senior Thesis II of 1-3 credits may be necessary to complete the finished work.
